Each BOD POD Gold Standard is a complete turn-key system. Everything needed to operate the system is provided, including:
- BOD POD Chamber
- Digital Scale (accommodates subjects up to 550 lbs/250 kgs)
- Calibration Standards
- Inkjet Printer
- Specially configured computer system and Windows®-based BOD POD software featuring:
- Option of either directly measuring Thoracic Gas Volume (TGV) or using predicted Thoracic Gas Volume (TGV) equations
- Data management capability for exporting test data
- Customizable test printout options, including optional Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and Total Energy Expenditure (TEE) data
